Mondogrande Publishing

A youth uprising in Myanmar and a murder in Danish diplomacy: two gripping new books from Mondogrande, each a world of its own. The brief was to secure as much coverage as possible.

I handled all press work for both titles: press releases, pitching, media contact and setting up interviews with the authors. For Eva-Marie Møller's ‘Oprør i Myanmar’ (Uprising in Myanmar, 2021), the angle was the first comprehensive account of Generation Z and the civil disobedience movement. Thomas Bo Pedersen's ‘Hævnen fra Hanoi’ (Revenge from Hanoi, 2023) was a roman à clef offering a glimpse into the culture of the Danish Foreign Service.

Both authors received wide coverage – from P1 to Børsen. Eva-Marie Møller was interviewed on P1 and Radio4, and in Børsen, Jyllands-Posten, Kristeligt Dagblad and Østerbroliv, and the book was also covered by Danwatch and Point of View International. Thomas Bo Pedersen was interviewed in Børsen and Bryggebladet, and the novel was also featured in ScandAsia and DBC Digital, among others.
